du Lac
By George Elmer
Restless high school student Lance Rivers wants nothing more than to get good enough grades to make his parents proud. But when he’s transported to some place not quite Medieval England, Lance must find his place in this new world while mistaken for the kingdom’s champion, spearheaded by the court sorcerer.
Lance Rivers is just on the stranger side of average, with a habit of annoying people to get what he wants. He isn’t the most average fifteen-year-old you could ever meet, but he’s also not the last one standing when it comes to picking teams. Until one day, he vanishes in the middle of school.
Lance Rivers crashes into King Arthur’s Camelot with a case of mistaken identity. He finds himself involved with battles, sorcerers, and adventures with people who come to be his closest friends. Lance must fight to not only prove he can belong in this strange new world, but he must also decide if he wants to.
It’s just a shame no-one believes he isn’t Lancelot du Lac.
